It's a Girl!
Well, because I have been a husband-failure and unable to provide my wife with a baby that she so desperately desires, she decided to take matters into her own hands and pursue one of the 4-legged canine variety. Actually, Leah grew up with dogs (whereas I was mostly a cat person) and has always wanted her own. Thus, Saturday found us in the TrailBlazer for a 155-mile trip (plus the 25 extra wrong miles, compliments of Mapquest) to the booming metropolis of Caledonia, MS.

Well its about dang time you guys get a dog. Cats are ok, but dogs are real pets. :)
So how are the cats taking to Calle so far?
I'm glad that we finally are closer to your idea of a classic American family, Scottie. I had no idea the cats were messing up our image!!
The cats are still at the "What the hell did you bring in our house?!" stage. Griz is a lot more curious about her than Sherwood, but when Calle starts chasing him to play, Griz just jumps up on the couch or something to get out of her way. They'll be ole buddies before it's all over with. I hope.
